Oct 21: F.A.M.E and Communications Evening

This event subdivides into a 7:00pm – 8:00pm workshop and a 7:30pm – 10:30pm networking evening

We are delighted to announce that this month’s feature guest and workshop leader is Ding ZhaoXia.

Photo 3 Ding ZhaoXia  is a 7 time China National Wushu (Gong fu) and Taekwondo Champion.

ZhaoXia was a China’s 2008 Olympic Taekwondo Technical Official and is the founder of the “Marianne Yi” Association.

The Mariane Yi Association is devoted to developing the use of Martial Arts (such as Taichi and Qigong) for physical and mental health related purposes.

In her 7:00pm  “Move Slowly, Strike Quickly for Health Now and Forever” workshop ZhaoXia will explain and demonstrate some moves and best practices for a healthy mind and body.

We recommend that this workshop will be beneficial to people who are addicted to breathing and do not plan on quitting in the near future.

As human being, stress is a part of our own modern urban living: often- high paced, demanding and highly stressful… the struggle for food, shelter, desire and comfort…

Taichi is one of those masterful Eastern techniques with centuries of development behind it. It represents one of the most effective ways of not only dealing with stress, but building  positive foundation for health-related behaviour.

Taichi recognizes the interdependence of mind, body and spirit. Its gentle exercises allow the Chi to flow, to bring the balance and harmony to all aspects of our life, and, to promote well-being.

With a relaxed body, calm and open mind will be better able to cope with, and perhaps even overcome, the stress you face.

Taichi can help you gain the balance, health, happiness and peace of mind.

All you need do is begin.

The 7:30pm – 10:30pm networking evening is part our F.A.M.E. & Communications series of events which are targeted at people who had, or still have, a dream. …. “if you will it, it is no dream”

It is an evening for people who work in the creative industries or are users of products that derive from creative innovation.

Creativity sub-divides into the  F.A.M.E. (Fashion, Arts, Media, Entertainment) division and Communication division ( – for example Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Sales, Teaching, Legal, Diplomacy, Consulting).

This is a chance to meet peers from across the sector, to listen to inspirational speakers and to converse with the featured guest.

Come at 7:00pm to listen to ZhaoXia. She  will be talking about  ” Move Slowly, Strike Quickly for Health Now and Forever” or come at 7:30pm for the networking session.
